What happens when the proverbial mid-life crisis knocks and then barges through the doors of Parminder Singh Seth’s mundane existence?
The hope of turning a mundane existence into an enticing and exciting one, once you hit middle age is a topic that has garnered a lot of attention in popular culture. That’s also the premise of ‘2 To Tango 3 To Jive’: a man, going through a mid-life crisis, is in search for that perfect extramarital affair that will make him feel young and alive again.
Parminder Sethi (Saurabh Shukla) is a well-to-do hotelier, and wants to add some zing to his love life. Choosing his mother’s house as a love nest whenever she steps out to do her social work, Sethi entertains different women. First comes the social butterfly Shonali (Achint Kaur), followed by the nubile glam doll Rinky (Sadia Siddiqui) and finally the soul-searching but pessimistic Savita (Preeti Mamgain). Though they make just fleeting appearances in his life, each of these women teaches him an importance lesson, opening his eyes to the many truths of life — the biggest being — having an affair is not a piece of cake.
