A young bride in a Polish shtetl is possessed by the spirit of her dead beloved in this Yiddish classic rooted in Jewish folklore. Written in 1914 by S. Ansky and adapted by Tony Kushner, The Seattle Jewish Theater Company presents this tale of love caught between two worlds and a community dealing with mysterious, other-worldly forces.
