Acclaimed actor/playwright Jon Adam Ross brings his heralded national theater series, The inHEIRitance Project, to Seattle, one of five cities selected for an original, local world premiere! Ross and his team are creating plays in cities around the country inspired by the matriarchs and patriarchs from the Book of Genesis and devised through local conversations, community engagement, and study in each city’s Jewish community. In Seattle, Ross is collaborating with Emmy-winning documentary filmmaker Ilana Trachtman to explore themes of sisterhood related to the biblical story of Rachel and Leah and the play itself will feature a combination of film and live performance. Join us for the world premiere of a play conceived of collaboratively in our community, featuring local women leaders, sisters, and friends. Made possible by a Covenant Foundation Award
