Falling in love is mysterious, but there is science underlying human attraction! Dr. Pepper Schwartz, a relationship expert and author of “50 Myths About Human Sexuality,” will discuss the science of love. Schwartz will touch on the different theories of what makes people fall in love, conflicting styles of showing love, and how love and intimacy (sexual and sensual) can be renewed in relationships. Adults only. Followed by Q&A, book sales and signing. Dr. Schwartz, a professor of sociology at UW, has written and co-authored 25 books and is the author of over 50 academic articles on intimate relationships, marriage, love, and sex. Schwartz is the AARP Love, Sex, and Relationship Ambassador and one of four experts on the A&E Network TV show “Married at First Sight.”
