is a reduction of the ballet Giselle to its constituent parts of madness, death, spirits, true love, grief, revenge and tradition. The playful and grotesque are juxtaposed between slow hyper-controlled motion with the athleticism of contemporary dance.
The Three Yells was founded by Veronica Lee-Baik to explore and translate modern dance through choreography, performance, and education. Based in Seattle, Washington, The Three Yells collaborates with cross disciplinary artists to install landscapes which results in a body of work that is as strikingly visual and physical as it is visceral.
