A veteran stand-up comic and one of Jerry Seinfeld’s oldest friends, Mark Schiff recently completed a tour with Seinfeld including four shows in Israel. In addition to numerous appearances on The Tonight Show with Jay Leno and Late Night with David Letterman, Schiff has had both HBO and Showtime specials and has written for and guest starred on Mad About You, as well appeared on Empty Nest, and served as a writer onThe Roseanne Show.

Tales of the Alchemysts Theater is a new performance company comprised of seasoned local professional actors and musicians that are dedicated to bringing provocative and entertaining Jewish literature to life. Join them for an evening of dramatic storytelling with a staged reading of Issac Bashevis Singer’s short stories set to live music. Followed by a Q&A. Co-sponsored by Julie and Rabbi Jim Mirel.

Acclaimed actor/playwright Jon Adam Ross brings his heralded national theater series, The inHEIRitance Project, to Seattle, one of five cities selected for an original, local world premiere! Ross and his team are creating plays in cities around the country inspired by the matriarchs and patriarchs from the Book of Genesis and devised through local conversations, community engagement, and study in each city’s Jewish community.
